designed to provide student information to authenticated users, including
students, parents, teachers, librarians, and administrative staff.
Students can review their own records and even enter their course selections
for the upcoming school year, saving office staff hours of data entry.
Parents can be actively involved in their children's education by reviewing
very detailed information tracked in the administration system, including
attendance, marks, transcripts, and even discipline incidents.
Maplewood connectEd allows teachers to take attendance and enter assessment information for
their students.
Maplewood connectEd provides librarians all of the functionality to automate their libraries,
from cataloguing and inventory, to circulation using the school's student
and staff records within the Maplewood administration system as the patrons.
School administrators can review the records of the students in the school.
Many smaller schools may now use Maplewood connectEd for most of their access to
student data with relatively few people needing the deeper functionality
currently provided by the Windows system. This is becoming more apparent as
more of this functionality is released.
Maplewood connectEd runs with most browser applications and is easy to administer.
